I was fortunate to go to Israel with a dear friend at the end of December 2023 for 5 days of volunteer work. We had Leo Loeffler set up our itinerary and drive us everywhere. In a word, he was AMAZING!! Every day was filled with important and meaningful work. Our days included BBQs at army bases, packing gear for soldiers, packing food, buying toys and necessities for displaced families staying at a hotel and having the privilege to meet them and hear their stories, visiting a wounded soldier in the hospital, attending the funeral of a fallen soldier, going to Hostage Square and the Nova Festival exhibit, enjoying time at a winery, and endless more. Everything was meticulously planned and executed.
Above all, Leo’s vibrant personality, outstanding knowledge, and his sincere care and mindfulness for our safety really made our time in Israel an experience of a lifetime.
